Sok Ly's story

Mrs. Sok Ly A. is a villager in Chan village in Kampong Cham province. She is a farmer who owns a plot of land used to cultivate rice. On her plantation, she faces some problems because she does not have enough money to hire a laborer with two oxen, and buy fertilizer to support the field to make her crops more productive. In order to solve these problems, she decided to ask for a loan for these purposes.

Her husband, Mr. Kiv Sophal, is a construction worker. Mrs. Sok Ly A. is 30 years old and the mother of three children. Two are attending the local school while the youngest one is too young for studies. Her husband is presented with her in the picture.
