A loan of $525 helped buy wood to make furniture.

Cesar Antonio's story

Cesar is 49 years old and has been able to stand out since he was young. He worked as an assistant to a cabinetmaker, and now lives in the Memorial Sandino neighborhood. His wife is a homemaker and his two children are 12 and 16 years old, both in high school. He began his business with personal savings and now with the knowledge he has acquired over the years he has his own workshop and feels happy that he has achieved his goals. He has also achieved other things thanks to loans from Kiva partner Afodenic. This is the fifth loan that he has requested and he will use the it to buy wood to make a variety of furniture, which he will sell in the market. He hopes to make a good income from the sales which will let him make more sales in the future. His long-term plans are to be able to help his children with their studies so they will become important men in society, and to find new avenues for sales.
