Luciana's story

Mrs. Luciana V. is 44 years old and separated from her husband 10 years ago. During the 12 years they were married, they had 5 children. Luciana proudly takes responsibility for their care, nutrition, studies, etc, and she has moved forward with no problems. Two of her children are university students, the oldest is in his fourth year of Dentistry school and the other a sophomore studying Business Administration. Her other three children, 18, 15, and 9 years old, are still in high school and elementary school. Ten years ago, when Luciana separated from her husband, she began making cakes and alfajores (soft cookies filled with caramel). Today she sells her delicious products to several businesses in the city as well as filling individual orders for social events like birthdays, weddings, and other parties. Thanks to the high quality of her products, she has many customers and her orders are increasing. As her income increases, she is able to continue paying for her children’s studies. Her goal is for all of them to be able to complete a college education. She is asking for this loan to buy flour, sugar, butter and eggs in order to complete her customer’s orders.
