A loan helped to provide her neighbourhood with clean drinking water by buying water filters.

Siti's story

Mrs Siti, has a family of four and lives in a village called Pakis in Malang Regency in Java, Indonesia's most heavily populated island. In Indonesia nobody can drink city water, and most people have not even access to piped water, therefore most Indonesians depend on purchasing or boiling water. Mrs Siti heard of a new option for disinfecting water when the promotion crew from Nazava water filters held a safe water training in her vicinity. Nazava Water Filters filter well, rain and city water so it becomes safe to drink without boiling, without using fuel or electricity.

Mrs Siti who is also a midwife took the opportunity and became the sales representative of Nazava in her area. Mrs Siti already collected orders and small down payments of almost 100 people. Her clients pay back in 8 installments so that even poor people can afford to have a purifier in their home.Making safe drinking water available to 500 people.
Mrs Siti will use this loan to buy around 100 water filters from Nazava that she will sell on credit to her neighbors.
This loan is larger then usual for a starting entrepreneur because mrs Siti already collected so many downpayments and because she is visited weekly by Nazava's sales team which provides oversight.
