Eang H., 44, is married and lives with her husband in the province of Kampong Cham. She grows and sells rice to earn a living and is able to make about $4 every day. Her husband owns a grinding machine and uses it to provide a service to the local farmers. On average, he makes around $1.50 per day. This couple together has three children, one of whom is a garment factory worker. Eang H. would like to take out a loan to purchase a truck to transport the grinding machine from house to house, and invest in a new business of selling wood.
