Thun's story

K. was born in 1981 in Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia. She currently wholesales different kinds of vegetables like morning glories, cabbages, etc, and started the business more than eight years. She normally collects vegetables from farmers and transport them by taxi to sell at the Poypet Market. For another income, she also is a local rice farmer.

She is married to Veun Vong, aged 30, who is a motorbike taxi driver. The couple has no children. K.'s investment is going well and it is a profitable investment, which motivates her to continue working. In order to make the investment more successful, she is asking for a loan of $1000 to buy more vegetables for sale and to do rice farming.
