Carmen's story

Carmen is 64 years old, is a widow, and lives with her children Joel, 25, and Justina, 35, who lives with her husband. She sells clothing that she brings from the city of Lima in order to sell in the city of Puno. She has been doing this for a year, in which time her sales have improved exceedingly, due to the variety of clothes that Carmen offers being very popular in the "Plaza Galeria" that is her stand is in. Carmen has always liked retail, and after she became a widow she has been wholly dedicated to it, in order to forget her grief, making her very determined to get ahead. The most difficult thing is to face all of the problems that face her alone, since her chlidren are older and live their own lives. And although their support is unconditional, it's just not the same as sharing it with your husband, whom she misses a lot. Carmen meets you with her first loan with Microfinanzas Prisma and promises to be very punctual with her payments. With the loan money she will buy a larger quantity of clothes to sell in the city of Puno.
