A loan helped to buy 3 steers for fattening.

Manuel De Jesús's story

Manuel, 39, went to school through ninth grade. He has a partner and 2 children. His partner is a homemaker. The younger child is in third grade, and the older child is in sixth grade.

Manuel has many years of experience in management of beef cattle on pasture land. As a child, his parents taught him the farming and keeping of animals. He also works in a carpentry workshop throughout the day, and during the rest hours, gives water to his calves, which are in a pasture near his house.

Manuel wants to give his children what his parents could not give him. For this, he requests a loan to buy steers for fattening. After he fattens them,
he can sell them and keep an additional carpentry income, to educate and feed his children.

Manuel dreams of buying land and building his own home, so that his children can live at their own home. He also wants his children to become professionals, when they grow up.
