La Florida Group's story

The "Florida" group is represented by Mrs. Silvia Melina and has 16 members. They are dynamic and are enthusiastic about making progress in their small businesses. The majority of the group members are in sales such as food sales, neighborhood grocery stores, cosmetics and shoes. Some are service providers, housing construction, public transportation and Internet cafes. In the work field, especially sales, there is a lot of competition in the market. This forces the group members to improve the quality of their products and proviD. better quality service. That is why they need financing through the Agrocapital foundation, to make their businesses grow. By purchasing materials and supplies and improving their work tools, they can offer high quality service with better efficiency. In general the group doesn't have experience working with solidarity groups but they assure us they are responsible and good people. The Agrocapital foundation is offering them the opportunity to increase their income and improve their families' quality of life.
