Yem S. S. is 20 years old and sells sugar cane juice. On an average day, she makes about $10, and her household income is complemented by the $6/day that husband makes working as a carpenter. She also supports her father who lives in their home. Yem S. S. will use this loan to buy a motorbike for transportation to work. In the long-term, this will save her transportation costs, and she can also rent the motorbike out when she does not need it for additional income. In the future, her husband and her have ambitions of starting a larger juice production business. If this is successful, they will build a proper home for their future family.
