A loan of $475 helped purchase a full ton of rice to sell in all the local markets.

Zully's story

Zully is 26 years old and is married to a man who works as a driver. She has been a member of the Community Bank called “Together To The End” for two years. With her first loan of approximately $100 USD, Zully purchased several sacks of rice and began selling it in the market. At the time, her husband was ill and could not work. When he saw the effort Zully made in supporting them, he was better able to focus his efforts in getting well and now he also supports them as well through his business. With this current loan of approximately $475 USD, Zully will purchase a full ton of rice, which she will then sell in all the local markets. She keeps track of her earnings and sales on a daily basis. Zully is very happy these days because she and husband are working together towards their goals and her business grows every day.
