A loan of $650 helped to buy a small car to rent.

Lucila Elsa's story

Lucila belongs to the Community Bank "Cesar Vallejo" in the young district "09 de octubre" in the city of Pucallpa. She is 33 years old, has 2 children, and her husband works on the Camisea pipeline. She has been a member of the community bank for 8 years.

When her husband did not have a job, she would sell food, supporting her mother. She joined the Manuela Ramos group. With her first loan of 300 soles she became independent and grew her savings little by little and bought a small car which was stolen a few days after buying it; however, she continued working.

With this loan of 2,000 soles Lucila will buy a small car which she will rent. She will also continue selling food at night.

She is very happy for the support that Manuela Ramos offers in the moments that it is most necessary.
