A loan of $200 helped repair her motorcoach.

Doris's story

Doris is a single mother. She lives in her own home with her three children, who are grown up and have families but support her above all. She is the owner of a motorcoach and at times recently has sold clothing in the different areas of the region. She has had her motorcoach for a year, providing taxi services so she can afford her daily expenses. One of her children drives the vehicle, and he also cares for and maintains it. Doris is content because just like the motorcoach, her clothing sales have gone well and generate good income, and now she is planning to start a new business selling grocery items. This is her eighth loan through Kiva partner MFP, and she plans to use the money she is requesting to repair her motorcoach so it works 100 percent. She also plans to build a kiosk where she can later install her shop.
