Gloria Eusebia's story

Doña Gloria is single, aged 52, a worker in Asuncion Hospital with 28 years of service as a professional nurse. She has a son who is undertaking university studies. She is asking for her seventh credit in order to tile the floor in her house (living room, kitchen, dining room) and also if it is possible to repair a wall in the kitchen. All her credits have been repaid on time and in full, despite having responsibility for her mother who after a stroke lost her ability to walk. She and Gloria's sun are under her care, so she almost always works night shifts in order to be able wait on her mother during the day. She has a sister in the USA who in times of hardship helps her with the expense of the medications. Gloria suggests that her dream is to have all the quality of life and a dignified home for her son and her family.
