Thoung's story

S., 35, who lives in Kandal Province, makes a living providing printed invitation letters for wedding parties. She has been running the business since 2003 and is earning around US$ 5 per day. She is married and the mother of three children, who are still living in the family home. Her husband Sok Savy, 36, is a military policeman.



S. presently hopes to have a new investment for her husband, thus she would like to ask for a loan of US$ 1200 for her husband to use as capital to open up a shop for repairing electronics. With any remainder of the loan, she purposes to decorate her house.
