Sem S., 39, is a widow and resides with two of her children in Siem Reap province. Since 2006, she has been selling grocery products to earn a living and is able to make around US$3 a day. Her two children are students. Mrs. S. would like to take out a loan of US $1000 to purchase groceries in bulk in order to receive a volume discount and also to meet her client’s demand.
