Karina's story

Karina is 34 years old, single, and lives with her two young children in her own home made of basic materials. They reside in the District of La Matanza, a place where the residents engage in agriculture, livestock breeding, and trade. This area receives basic services, such as running water and electricity. It is located in Morropón Province, which is in the region of Piura on the northern coast of Peru.

Karina sells organic compost and offers this product to farmers in the area. In addition, she raises poultry such as hens, ducks, turkeys, and other fowl. She has been in business for more than 10 years and has the necessary experience. Karina has established customers who have provided good personal references on her behalf.

This loan will be used to buy a large quantity of compost in order to increase the inventory of her business. Karina will be able to generate more income so that she can improve her quality of life and that of her family.
