Twelve people who all live in Boeng Tras village, in Kampong Cham province formed this village bank loan group. They will use the loan for a variety of purposes and Mrs. Saveth M. is the village bank president. She is a farmer who owns a plot of land to cultivate rice. In this plantation, she faces an obstacle because she does not have enough money to hire labors to work in the field. She has decided to ask for a loan for this purpose. Her husband, Mr. Um Bory, is a fisherman. Mrs. Saveth M. is 32 years old and the mother of four children, two of whom are attending the local school while the others are still too young to work or study.
