Sharifa's story

Sharifa D/O Burhan Din was born in 1963 and lives in District 6 of Kabul City. She is married and has five family members. She and her husband have a grocery and vegetable shop. In the beginning, her husband just sold vegetables, and it was difficult to meet their daily expenses. When Sharifa finished her first loan cycle, they were able to open a grocery store, buy groceries from the main market in Kabul and sell them at their shop. This made them better able to meet expenses. Now Sharifa is ready to begin her second loan cycle so they can continue to improve their business and meet the needs of their family.
