Takatendeka Group's story

Emily is a member of Takatendeka group, meaning (we are faithful) in their local language. Her group has 6 people and they have received a loan amounting to $4250 altogether to fund their individual businesses. Emily is a cross-border trader who specializes in buying beans in Zimbabwe and sell them in South Africa. She lives in Warren Park, a suburb of Harare.

Emily and her group members joined Thrive Microfinance in 2013 and since that time she has been benefiting from Thrive program. She benefited a lot from getting funding from Thrive and she wishes to continue with this program as it is changing her life.
