Rachidatou's story

Mrs. Rachidatou I. was born on June 20, 1974 in Cotonou. Originally from Cana in the Zou district, she attended school up to 7th grade and left off of her own accord. After she left school, she helped her aunt sell various consumables. At the age of 25, she struck out on her own and began selling gari (flour made from cassava) and grilled peanuts, and then began to sell other staples as well: tinned goods, pasta, etc. She is requesting this second loan to bolster her little business. She intends to stock up on soap, tinned goods, and pasta. She is married to Mamoudou Adenka and has four children.
