Sarom's story

Mrs. Sarom C. is a farmer in Prey Torteung village in Kampong Speu province. Her husband, Mr. Chin Voeun, helps her on the rice plantation. Although they try to work hard on the plantation, they still earn only a little revenue to support the family.

Mrs. Sarom C. is 53 years old and the mother of three children; two are employed in a garment factory, and the youngest one is attending the local school. In order to provide better conditions for the family, Mrs. Sarom C. is requesting a loan to buy a cow to start a breeding business.
