A loan of $325 helped expand her stall and purchase more merchandise.

Kathya's story

Kathya is 24 years old. She lives with her son and her partner who supports her a lot. She is dedicated to selling groceries and produce from a stall in her local market. She also sends another person to sell her products in the different villages of the Ucayali river. She's had this business for four years. She enjoys it because she knows a lot of people and is always ready to provide friendly treatment so that they become return shoppers. Up until now, this business has generated good income, enough to pay the bills. However, she wants to improve and continue to grow for which she does not hesitate to continue to invest her time and money. This is the first time that she has belonged to a community bank. This is also her first loan with MFP. She has promised to be very responsible and punctual. With the money that she is requesting, she will expand her stall and purchase merchandise so that later, with a lot of work and effort, she can achieve her dream of having a minimarket.
