Ipagala 1 Group's story

Mwamvita has owned a small food and flower store in the Ipagala neighborhood of Dodoma for the last three years. She currently earns an average monthly profit of 90 USD. She is requesting her first loan from BRAC Tanzania so that she can buy more food materials for her business. She is hoping that through this loan, her profit will increase and she will be able to grow her business and improve her home. She is 28 years old, married, and has two children ages four and eight. She also cares for one additional dependent.

She will be sharing this loan with her fellow group members: Siwema, Zainabu, Jane and Doroth. Each woman also has her own small business in Dodoma.
