A loan helped a member buy cereals, millet, corn, and peanuts that he will resell.

Gie Benno Group's story

The Gie Benno group brings together shopkeepers who work in the same market.

Mr. Cheikh Tidiane is in charge of the group. He has been selling cereals for 14 years. He has a cafeteria and would like to use his loan to improve it.

He works all day. He will buy millet, corn, and peanuts and then sell them. With the rainy season in the past, he can now take advantage of lower prices to buy more products that he can sell for a profit.

Cheikh Tidiane has family responsibilities. He is married and has three children between the ages of 8 months and 7 years. For the time being, he takes care of the daily expenses and the education of his eldest child. He would like to grow his business by renting a warehouse that will allow him to house more products.

In this group: Cheikh Tidiane, Dior, Alassane, Abdoulaye, Fatou
