Erlinda Magda's story

Erlinda is a partner of the Community Bank of San Juan. She is 42 years old and married. Her three children are 16, 6, and 3 years old, and all of them are in school.

Erlinda started making snacks in her home 14 years ago. At first she bought her ingredients by the kilo because she lacked capital, but now she is able to buy in larger quantities and save money. Erlinda also has a car that she rents, which provides extra income. Since she joined Finca, Erlinda has been more independent and she doesn't have to loan money from her husband. She needs a loan of 1000 soles to invest in the business of buying and selling cars.

She dreams of starting a bakery, and is presently looking for a location.
