Manzooran baji is 33 years old, married, and resides in the city of Vehari, Pakistan. She has lived with her family for the past 5 years. Her husband, K. A. is a driver by profession and drives an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle) and has 20 years experience. Manzooran baji is a mother of four children: three daughters and one son. Her son works in a grocery shop as a salesman and earns a monthly wage. Her daughters help her in her clothes sewing business. She teaches them how to cut and shape a dress and how to sew it. Now her first two daughters are trained and they can sew clothes easily by themselves. Manzooran baji feels very pleased to watch them work. This work gives herself and her daughters a good income. She is applying for a loan to repair her husband’s auto-rickshaw.

Manzooran baji is also the leader of a women's loan group. Rubina baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw. Shahida mai baji wants a loan to buy another motorbike for her motorbike rental business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
