Millicent's story

Millicent is 28 years old. She is married to Gerson and together they have been blessed with two children. Gerson provides additional income for the family.

Millicent runs a retail shop, a business she has done for the last seven years, earning a monthly income of Kes 8,000.

Millicent has requested her first loan with VisionFund Kenya of Kes 10,000, which she will use to add to her stock of retail goods. Such goods include sugar, tea leaves, rice, milk and washing powder.

With the anticipated profits, Millicent will be able to repay the loan as well as school fees for her children.
