A loan of $800 helped purchase new cages for rabbits.

Juliana's story

Juliana is 57 years old, separated, and lives with her daughter and granddaughter who she looks after. For almost 50 years she has been raising small animals as she has always been fond of animals and has taken care of and fed them since she was a little girl. When she grew up, she discovered the possibility of an economic activity and a business and then she began selling them as the markets request huge amounts of guinea pig or rabbit meat for the restaurants for tourists in nearby towns. It is difficult to kill these animals and sell their meat, so she prefers to sell them alive. Juliana has her 13th loan with MFP and she is very punctual and responsible. With this loan she will buy new cages to raise rabbits properly as the numbers increase rapidly.
