Elisa D. Carmen T. D. A. is a forty-four year old mother of three. She lives in Pucallpa– the capital city of the Ucayali region in Peru’s Amazon River basin. Elisa’s business is a flower shop that she runs on Salaverry Street. She sells flowers, teddy bears, decorative adornments and statuettes. She started this business just four months ago with her relative. She is pictured above in front of her shop's new sign.
Elisa is a member of the Talented Women communal bank and has taken out loans through Manuela Ramos and Kiva for one year. Elisa is currently requesting 1,200 Nuevo Soles to help fund the purchase of more flowers, gifts, and decorations to stock her shop. Elisa will repay her loan in four monthly installments. She thanks you for your support.
