A loan of $325 helped purchase a better breed of cow.

Alex's story

Alex is 25 years old, married and lives with his young family. He works raising animals, which he sells once he has fattened and raised them for a while, and has done so for five years. In these years, he has had the satisfaction of working in a job that is not too heavy, caring for the animals by providing the vaccines and nutrition necessary for their growth. His small cows can bring additional income, as he sells the milk they produce in markets or to his neighbors. Alex wants to keep growing little by little, without rushing into hasty decisions. He wants to keep selling his own animals and milk, avoiding middlemen. This is his fifth loan with MFP, and thanks to the loans he's obtained, he's had the opportunity to grow considerably. For this, he is very grateful and maintains firmly his commitment to repayment. With this loan he will acquire a better breed of cow, valued at 1500 soles, which is why he requests a greater amount.
