A loan of $825 helped purchase beauty supplies and invest in construction of apartments.

Teodora's story

Ms. Teodora, a member of the “Santa Ana” microfinance institute, lives in the San Martin Region of the province and district of Moyabamba. She has her own beauty salon in her house. She does haircuts and dyes for men, women and children. She also provides manicures and pedicures, as well as sells LIFE beauty products. She is qualified for this business, which is why she is well-known in the city.

With this 2,500.00 PEN loan, which will be repaid in 6 monthly installments, she will purchase supplies that she uses daily, such as: hair dye in different shades and brands by the dozen, shampoo, hand and body lotion by the dozen, and LIFE hair care products. She will also invest some of the loan in building apartments that she plans on renting out once they have been finished.

Ms. Teodora is 47 years old, and lives with her husband and 4 dependent children. She wishes to finish construction of the apartments and have a well-kept beauty salon.
