Adom Farms Group's story

Robert is a 54-year-old who comes from Breman Esikuma in the Esikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region of Ghana. He is the group representative of Adom Farms Group.

Robert is married with 7 children, and all of the 7 children are schooling. The ages of some the children are 5, 8, 10, 13, 15 and 26 years old. Robert has a 5 acre orange farm.

He also has a cocoa and palm plantation in addition to the orange farm. Robert's wife is also a farmer. She supports her husband with his cash crop farms.

Farming has been Robert's desire and with the passion he has for it, he decided to go into farming after completing his first cycle education. He hopes to enter into poultry farming in the future to supplement the income from his cash crop farms. He hopes to fulfill this aspiration by re-investing part of the income from his cash crop farms.

Currently, Robert needs financial support to supplement his and his wife's efforts in maintaining the farm. He needs money to buy fertilizer and pay for the pruning of the orange trees to maximize output, and thus his household income.

He will be able to make enough profit to give the children a good education and meet his future business goals. Robert is very thankful to his micro lenders for their kind support.
