A loan of $625 helped buy construction materials to fix up his home.

Cesar Augusto's story

Cesar is 58 years old, living in the South Laureles neighborhood in the capital of Managua. He is single and has five grown children. His plan for his family is to have an inheritance for his children. Cesar works selling various clothes for children and adults. He sells for cash and on credit. He has had his small business for 30 years. He started it with his own money. His plan for his business is to increase his sales through (selling) new products and (reaching) new sectors of the market.

This is his third loan. The loans have been of much benefit, as he has already made several improvements to his home. With this loan from Kiva partner Afodenic, he will be able to buy construction materials such as cement, bricks, and zinc, so that he can continue improving the infrastructure of his house and gaining better security for his family.
