A loan helped to buy potato seeds and mineral fertilizers in order to grow ecologically-clean and delicious vegetables.

Buhazhar's story

Buhazhar is 52 years old, married and has one adult son and 2 grandchildren. To provide the primary income for her family, Buhazhar is involved in animal husbandry and farming, having started this business in 2010 with 10,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Buhazhar's hard work, today her farm contains 4 sheep. She also grows potatoes and corn for sale on 0.54 hectares of land. In order to further develop her business, Buhazhar requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy potato seeds and mineral fertilizers in order to grow ecologically-clean and delicious vegetables. She plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further expanding her business because she wants to save money for her grandchildren's education and upbringing.
