Celinda's story

Celinda, a member of the "Los Jazmines" Communal Bank, lives in the San Martin region, province and district of Moyobamba. She is 61 years old and the mother of 6 children, who are all adults. She sells stews and cheeses from her stand in the city's central market.

With this loan for S/. 1,500, which will be repaid in 6 months, she will buy different varieties of dried beans such as canary beans and pinto beans, to cook and sell. She will also buy large quantities of milk to prepare cheeses and satisfy the different tastes of her customers.

Celinda is a very hard-working women who wants to see her business grow. In the future she would like to offer a greater variety of products to her customers.
