A loan of $1,175 helped working capital.

Denis Leonel's story

The young entrepreneur Denis Leonel G. H. is 21 years old and married with one two-year-old son. His life partner works in commerce. Denis wants to expand his business by offering a larger volume and wider variety of products. He also wants to make home improvements, so that he can leave his home to his son someday and his son won't have to suffer from unmet needs tomorrow. He would also like to provide his son with an academic future by offering him the good education that he needs in his formative years.

Denis works in commerce selling products like chicken, beef and staple grains. He has had his business for the past three years, and originally founded it to help his family. Since he was very young, Denis has helped his family with their business, and as the years went by they decided to turn the administration of their business over to Denis. Denis then decided to start taking out loans in order to begin offering a wider variety of products and give his clients everything they need. He will use his loan as working capital to help him increase his production of chicken, beef and staple grains for the holiday season. He is grateful to Fundacion Leon 2000 and its partner organizations for offering him this opportunity to continue moving forward.
