Trisula's story

Mrs. Trisula S., 38, lives in Khapichhen. Khapichhen is located in Lalitpur district and most of the people in this region are engaged in small businesses. Mrs. S. lives in a nuclear family with her husband and one son. Her husband, Mr. Gokarna S., works in a cyber-cafe. Her son is now six years old and he is attending pre-primary school.



Mrs. Trisula S. is engaged in weaving woollen sweaters and shawls. She started weaving 6 years ago. She also opened a woollen sweater shop near her house. She weaves different types of woollen sweaters. She sells sweaters to big dealers. Especially foreigners love hand-knitted woollen sweaters. Nowadays the demand for woollen sweaters is increasing.
