Liza's story

Liza is 50 years old and has one child. She lives with her son and pensioner mother-in-law in Tskaltubo district. Liza owns two cows, which she milks every day and produces dairy products to sell locally. This is the only source of income for her family.

Liza decided to start an additional business and and requested a loan from the Start Up program, which is a joint initiative with Kiva and Credo, for 2,400 GEL, which she will use to purchase a stock of shoes to sell among her villagers at higher price. This loan will give her a chance to increase her family income and improve their living conditions.
