A loan of $650 helped to enlarge her business.

Bi Bi Shiren's story

Bi Bi Shiren lives in district 6 of Kabul, Afghanistan. She is married and lives with her own nuclear family. She has been doing embroidery for many years. She works in her house and her husband sells what she makes at the bazaar. Her husband is also a taxi driver. Shiren wants to expand her embroidery business and exchange her husband's taxi for a new one.

She has requested an individual loan of 30,000 Afghani with a term of 12 months to enlarge her shop and complete her stock. She wants to say she is sure that after this loan, some changes will come to their life and they can support their family better in future.

Shiren is happy with this loan process in Afghanistan. She would like to thank Kiva for working with AFSG to achieve this wonderful process of small loans in Afghanistan.
