Segara Mandala Group's story

"Segara Mandala" group is a group of house wives in Tukadaya village. This group has already succeeded with their 1st loan which they used to raising pigs. They are earning a profit of IDR 550 thousand to IDR 750 thousand per 6 month period (around USD 50 - USD 70/ 6 month period).

Even though the profit is not high they are not discouraged. They are even planning to take the 2nd loan from Dinari foundation. They are planning to use the loan money to buy more piglets to be raised and also to buy pig's food. The loan period will be 6 month where they can repay the loan at the end of the loan period.

They are hoping to be able to expand the business so they can get more profit. WIth this they can improve their lives and also able to send their children to schools.
