Mrs. Nou R., 52, is married and lives with three of her children and her husband in the Prey Veng province, Cambodia. She sells cake and makes $3 a day. She makes the cake from sticky rice, bananas, salt, sugar, coconut, and other ingredients. Her husband is a grocer and makes $3 a day as well.
Mrs. Nou R. would like to take out a loan of $1000 to add more grocery products. This will allow Nou R. and her husband to attract more clients. (Nou R. is pictured with her husband outside their home.)
