A loan of $650 helped to increase the number of animals she can buy.

Guisela's story

Guisela is 26 years old and lives with her 6 year old son and her mother. She sells animals, cattle and sheep, in the main livestock fairs of the area. She is very happy because for the past 4 years she has dedicated herself to this activity, which allows her to support her young son who is the reason for all her efforts. With him in mind, she never tires of searching for the best animals which will guarantee her greater profits. When there are no sales, she cares for her animals in the barn for a few days and tries to fatten them up, because she depends on them for her livelihood. This is the second time Guisela is asking for a loan from MFP, and she commits to continue repaying punctually as she has always done thus far. This loan will allow her to have more working capital, and she will be able to buy more animal and resell them for special occasions such as these Christmas holidays, when demand is at its peak.
