A loan helped to buy a sewing machine.

Tom's story

Tom, 63, lives in a small community of Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has three children, one is single and two are married.

In the last fifteen years, she has had an agri-business to grow rice and sell the crops to local dealers. She sometimes sells directly to customers at the market. On average, she can earn 5.00 USD a day.

In addition to farming, she has a sewing business to make simple clothes to sell. She requests a KIVA loan to buy a sewing machine. She hopes that this sewing machine will help her to earn more income.

She would thank to all the lenders for their generosity.
