A loan of $325 helped to buy wool to make her weavings.

Esperanza's story

Esperanza is 37 years old, she lives with her husband and 2 children in her parent's house. She has always liked the art of weaving, which she practiced together with her mother, and now it's been her economic activity for the past 10 years. With pains, she makes varied jackets and clothes for babies that are very beautiful, and when she does not have any orders for weavings, she goes to sell at the markets of her city as a traveling salesman, which is very difficult because she does not have a stable stall and she has to walk long blocks to sell some of her merchandise. It's the first time requesting a loan with MFP, and she's new in the community bank. The money requested will be invested in raw materials, to make a large quantity and diverse weavings to increase her sales.
