A loan of $325 helped to buy fertilizer for his small potato farm.

Maurilio's story

Maurilio is 47 years old, is married, and has five children; he is currently living with only three of them. All of his life he has devoted to agricultural work, and on market days he brings his products to the market. For Maurilio the harvest is what he enjoys the most and he devotes a lot of time to sorting the potatoes that he will sell, because the price will depend on the size of the potato. Sorted, the potato is more profitable, although the potatoes he sells are not in great shape, but at another price, "there is nothing to lose," he says smiling. Agriculture is full of satisfaction for him and his family, even more when they sell for a good price at the market; that is the motivation to continue planting. This is the ninth loan that Maurilio has with MFP, making his payments on time. And he is very grateful to those who support him, because they allow him to provide well-being to his family. With the money requested, he will buy fertilizer for his small potato farm.
