I Gede Gama
I Gede Gama owned a 1-hectare land. The entire land owned is planted with paddy, as there is adequate irrigation all year round in the area. Thus in the growing period of a year, the mentioned land can be planted on a rotational basis with paddy, corn and soy. This rotational planting is to preserve richness of the land and also dependent on the weather. Currently the rainy season, the appropriate season for planting paddy. For cultivating the land of this size, I Gede Gama required additional funds to increase the expected yield. Previously he only rely on the regular paddy seedlings so resulting in less than maximum yield as paddy is easily infested by disease. Apart from purchasing superior quality paddy seedlings, the mentioned loan will also be used to hire labor during the cultivating period and purchase pesticide. This is the first time I Gede Gama is using superior seedlings and he is assured his effort will be successful so increases his income for the family’s welfare.

I Gede Gama memiliki lahan seluas 1 hektar.
