A loan of $325 helped purchase of flour for her bakery.

Maria's story

Maria is 27 years old, a single mother with three children and lives with her parents. She has been selling beauty products for the last five years, but decided to increase her income and invest in her father's bakery. For the last years she has dedicated her time to this business because it is very profitable, selling pastries, tortes, cakes and snacks. She does not like having to sell on the streets as a peddler, but since she has three children to support she makes the effort to do it. She dreams of having her stable bakery and not needing to sell in the streets. This is her 5th loan with Microfinanzas Prisma, and she always makes her payments on the indicated dates. She will use the money to purchase flour for the bakery, this way she can continue to accumulate income for her future bake shop.
