Kossiwavi Akpéné's story

Mrs. Kossiwavi Akpéné T. is a Togolese woman who was born on June 18, 1961 in Lomé, the capital of the country. She is married to a man who is retired military, and they have 3 children. Since 2000 she has been selling generic products, handbags, and shoes in Agoè, a neighborhood north of the city.

She has never received a loan from WAGES. This first loan that she is requesting will allow her to buy 6 cases of generic products, 50 handbags and 100 pairs of shoes. This sort of merchandise is very popular as presents during the end-of-year festivities so the demand for these things is greater at present. With this new stock, she will be able to make more sales and serve her customers.
