Gitangu High Breeders Self Help Group's story

The person raising his hand in the photo is Nicholas, a member of Gitangu High Breeders Self Help Group.He is fifty two years old, married and blessed with five children who have completed school. He earns a living in dairy and poultry farming. He is grateful to Hand in Hand Eastern Africa for the training on enterprise management which has equipped him with skills that has enabled him manage his farming effectively through keeping proper farm records.However, Nicholas is constrained financially and needs money to expand his dairy farming by buying quality fodder for his dairy cows so that they can improve on their milk production. He hopes to generate more income to provide food in his household. He is grateful to Kiva for the financial support and promises to repay the loan promptly.
